It’s Freddy Time!

Freddy nominations were announced today, and Freedom and Liberty High Schools are both well represented in the lists of nominations.

Liberty’s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast received 10 nominations:

  • Outstanding Use of Scenery
  • Outstanding Use of Lighting
  • Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role (Lindsey Sommons as Mrs. Potts)
  • Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role (Addyson Hamilton as Lumiere)
  • Outstanding Performance by a Featured Dancer (Elisabeth Lee as Silly Girl/Napkin)
  • Outstanding Chorus
  • Outstanding Featured Performance by an Actor (Connor Roberts as Lefou)
  • Outstanding Production Number (“Be Our Guest”)
  • Outstanding Stage Crew
  • Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role (Mariah Nagle as Belle)

Freedom’s production of Anything Goes received 14 nominations:

  • Outstanding Performance by an Orchestra
  • Outstanding Use of Scenery
  • Outstanding Use of Costumes
  • Outstanding Use of Lighting
  • Outstanding Choreography
  • Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role (Angel D’Andria as Hope Harcourt)
  • Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role (Ryan Hill as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh)
  • Outstanding Chorus
  • Vic Kumma Award for Outstanding Solo Vocal Performance (Alexis Connolly, “I Get a Kick Out of You”)
  • Outstanding Production Number (“Anything Goes”)
  • Outstanding Stage Crew
  • Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role (Alexis Connolly as Reno Sweeney)
  • Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role (Josh Konschnik as Billy Crocker)
  • Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical
